Before you open it
Check the download.
After downloading an installer, compare its SHA-256 value with the value shown above.

Platform trust warnings are expected.
Detached release signatures prove which files were published. They do not replace Windows Authenticode or an Apple Developer ID certificate, so check the hash first and use the platform-specific step below.
Windows SmartScreen
The current Windows installers are not Authenticode-signed. Choose More info, then Run anyway only after checking the release.
macOS Gatekeeper
The DMG is ad-hoc signed, not Developer ID-signed or notarized. Open the app once from Finder's context menu, or use System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
Linux
For an AppImage, run chmod +x <file>.AppImage. For a Debian package,
run sudo apt install ./<file>.deb.
Release integrity
Verify the published files.
A published release may include detached Ed25519 signatures for every installer and feed,
plus a GPG signature for SHA256SUMS. The links below appear only when the
release manifest contains the real files.

Get started in five steps.
- Install Vastanex for your desktop.
- Open the app.
- Choose a kubeconfig context.
- Start read-only by default.
- Begin in the Problems view.
Updating
On first run or in Settings, choose whether Vastanex checks for updates automatically. Windows and Linux AppImage can download and install only after the feed and installer pass detached Ed25519 verification and you approve the restart. macOS and Debian builds point here instead. No update installs silently; if the public feed is unavailable, use the manual installer above.
