Website hosting

The public website is intended to be delivered through Cloudflare. Normal hosting and security operation can involve technical request information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, request time, requested path, user agent, referrer when supplied, and response or status information.

Website functionality

The current website has no account system, newsletter, comments, chat or support form. Users can contact Vastanex using the published email address. Email communication necessarily processes the sender's email address, message content and normal email metadata for handling the enquiry or commercial request.

Consent storage

The site's consent choice can be stored locally under vx-consent, including the consent version, choice and time.

Google Analytics

GA4 is intentionally not configured for this launch. No GA4 Measurement ID is configured at launch, so the current production configuration does not load Google Analytics or send GA4 analytics events.

The consent architecture remains available. If Google Analytics is enabled later, this Privacy page and the relevant disclosures must be reviewed before it is enabled.

Desktop application

The public website and the app are separate. The app's non-cluster network purposes are:

• Release update checks: when automatic checks are enabled or you choose Check now. It contacts the configured HTTPS Vastanex update feed and sends the app version, platform and architecture; the network IP address inherent in any request.
• Licence activation and refresh: only when you activate, refresh or deactivate a provider-backed licence. It contacts the licence provider configured for this installation and sends the entered provider key during activation, a random installation identifier and provider instance metadata; never cluster data, Kubernetes credentials or diagnostics.
• AI troubleshooting advisory: only after the assistant is enabled, a provider is ready and you consent to that request. It contacts the provider endpoint you configured and sends only the bounded, redacted facts you select for one request, after you review the context and give consent; never kubeconfig credentials, Secret bodies or hidden telemetry.

Vastanex has no automatic telemetry, crash upload or background diagnostics reporting.

Diagnostics and crash records stay on this computer until you explicitly export a redacted ZIP. Report a problem never attaches that ZIP automatically.

Kubernetes requests use the kubeconfig and cluster you choose. Cluster data is not sent to the update or licence services.

User privacy rights

Where applicable under data-protection law, a person may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability. You can contact the operator using the published privacy email. Applicable rights depend on the circumstances and applicable law.
